My Sweet Refuge
I cry out to the Lord.
I lift my voice.
I poured out all my woe.
Don’t you know what trouble I’m in?
When my spirit fades help me find my way.
On this road, on this road they lay a snare for me.
I cried out to you. Won’t you be my sweet refuge?
Look to my right and see there’s no-one to care for me.
I have no-one, nothing to call my own.
Why won’t you see I’m in a desperate need?
I know that they’re too strong for me.
